I had the same dilemma. If you can hold off, order some drain plug washers (which you'll need anyway), a new drain plug (cuz the one you pull will be trash), and some filters from a site sponser (eeuroparts, sobstory, etc). When you get the new plug and washers in, carefully get the old one out with a pipe wrench. Dig the teeth into the outer lip of the plug and it should come out. You may need a pipe on the wrench for extra torque, but you'll dig in and get it. Dispose of the old plug, recycle the oil, and start over with fresh parts. Torque the new one down to spec (i think around 20-25 ft-lbs?, it's in the Bentley), and it will come out MUCH easier next time.
