before the induction stroke and the power stroke involving electronics (1991 crank sensor) or something else? Yesterday I went to put in a different intake cam and as I was pulling the old cam off I realized I didn't set TDC. So I pulled off the exhaust cam and set the engine at TDC and then bolted the cams on. The idle ended up being really rough and the car was kinda doggin' it. I ended up wondering if it was from the cam at first, so I double checked to see if either cam was off a tooth but no go. So then I thought maybe something electronic is out of sync b/c I might have aligned the cams 180degrees out of phase from initial setup. So just to see what would happen, I unbolted the cams and rotated the engine 360degrees, then bolted the cams back on. Oddly the rough idle dissappeared and the car got it's power back. Should this make a difference, the crank sensor is only setup for TDC right?
