I had an 85 turbo for many years and have done some nasty brake jobs on those $#@ calipers. AS far as turning the piston on, I usually used a pry bar for 75% of the travel and then turned it in the last amount, which apparently is neccessary to reset the handbrake. At the same time, lube the yoke area with oil and Anti-Seize, after cleaning out the area first with Q-tips or something. This to extend the life of the calipers as long as possible. I went through 2 sets over 230k miles due to salt and stuff here in MI. I also made the tool (but later bought one) out of a small piece of scrap metal with a couple of short bolts screwed through it. It worked fine for a while. I hope you got back on the road SAFELY now! Good luck!
