Inner drivers may be the same, If you look at the drivers you will see two or three small ridges that look like they are there to retain the boot clamp. 2 ridges means large drivers 3 means small.
ther is an extra bearing in the front of the turbo trans which means the primary cover is different as well. I would not worry about the bearing but the cover has to match internally or you will not get oil into the gear cluster to lube it. the bearing is on the lower sproket shaft outside the sproket so if your turbo has it the primary cover will not work on the non bearinged cover unless you gut the trans and switch the entire shaft assy.
It is alot easier if you can just get all different style mount stuff and leave the cover alone.
Personally I like the shorter final drive gears. You turn a few more rpms in 5th but acceleration is better off the line
