Do you want to put the block in your 84T or the 8v head in the 89 900? Is the 89 900 a naturally aspirated 16v?
You have a few options actually. If you wanted to put the block in the 84t and the block is from a NA 16v, then you would have to basically rebuild the block w/ the proper 8v timing chain componetry(gears, guides, and chain) and the pistons from your 8v block b/c the compression ratio is different.
The other option is a CIS LPT, dump the whole 16v NA engine into your 84t and use the 84t. This would require adapting the CIS fuel injection to the 16v intake manifold and buying a 16v turbo exhaust manifold and a 16v turbo distributor. The compression would be higher so you would have to run less boost 3-4psi (just basic boost). I would also consider getting a Euro type air flow sensor for more fuel.
