Before you pull the switch apart, connect the passenger side switch to the driver side wiring. If the symptom stops, then take the switch apart as Bill suggests. If the symptom persists, then the problem is probably in the door. Grease the regulator mechanism, spray the widow channels with silicone. If you decide to take the regulator and motor out for cleaning and greasing, remove the motor and drain any water out of the motor and drive gear mechanism. My motor and drive gets water in it occasionally and it hangs up. I have sealed the motor with RTV silicone and wrapped it in plastic, but it still gets water in it. I now believe the water travels down the regulator and sneaks in at the drive gear shaft, which has some slop.
