Two tools may be required to remove the clutch, If the clutch is connected and the hyd. lines are working, you need to depress the clutch as place the retaining ring tool in the little spring fingers this holds the cutch away from the fly wheel. If the clutch petal and hydraulics are not working your need the compression tool ( its a big pipe with a shape that fits into the open space and allows the little fingers to open) to press the clutch open manually. after the clutch ins open you need to place the other tool retaining ring in to place like the first approach.
Remember, to remove the slave cylinder clutch from the transmission without opening the hydraulic line, You want to use the clutch hydraulics to open up the little fingers.
