distribution block is for closing the idle motor to check how the base idle is adjusted. For that to work your cars throttle switch must be adjusted correctly, otherwise grounding the wire will have no effect at all. That will also shut off A/C compressor if you have that one running when doing the test.
The other connector is for checking the fuel mixture/lambda and to check the "check engine" light.
I don't have the wire colors memorized since I use a special made harness that plugs into this three pin connector. But you can easily figure it out.
Check for battery power in one of the pins. When you have found that,put that wire aside. Ground one of the other pins with ignition on, if C/E lite comes on that's the wire to check C/E light.
Now you only have one pin left, if you hook a analog voltmeter up between that wire and the wire with power, the volt meter should oscillate between approx 0V and 12V when fuel mixture is correct. If 0V lean condition, if 12V rich condition.
