Remove lock from door, disassemble and remove remnants of key... also, make a mental note to have a steel key made at the dealer. Accept no brass keys. I am assuming that this was a brass key that was fatigued in the ignition lock and finally broke in the door. Am I right? If it is steel, it may come out of the lock with a high powered mechanic's magnet.
