i am still figuring out how much time its going to take me to do what, so i dont know if playing with rust is going to be realistic (either on the manifold, or on the chasis/suspension), but just for my edification, what is this (por-15 stuff) that you speak of?
hopefully my preventative cooling system maintanance wont backfire, because the head was just rebuilt about a year ago. and the dern dealership did a poor job too. wish i had had time to learn about this stuff back then :( my mom was caring for the car at that time. she later took it to get diagnosed at another shop, who said "Rebuilt head, engine runs rough" is it worth me poking around in the head to see what it looks like while i have the coolant out of the system? or is that most likely bound to be more trouble than its worth...
im looking forward to draining that tranny ... or am i!! heh, guess i'll have to do some reading in my fren bentley.
i appreciate all your help today, its helped me make a dent in getting this service ready in my head.
cheers,
dave
