Turbo yes.
I have been through fairly extensive testing. Got spark and gasand the engine cranks fine. I thought I had everything in order after chasing down a bad ignition amplifier as I began to get spark and thus fuel agin where previously there was none. But alas, it still will not start and I have monkeyed with the timing a little bit but in small increments.
The car ran fine before I had to replace a piece of exhaust pipe with a stuck oxygen sensor. In the process I broke a bolt to the turbo wastegate and had to remove it to get the bolt out and fix the thread. Put it all back together and then began with the problems listed above.
Right now I can crank the car and get a puff of white/gray smoke from a small backfire and then nothing if I keep cranking. Smells flooded pretty early.
Any ideas?
Thanx,
Dane
