DAN! Glad you are back! The stall is probably a Turbo Bypass Valve or Hooter valve (2 common names for the same thing). See the TSN FAQ on it. If it is not, it may be something in the Fuel Injection system, but I am betting on a hooter. Test to see if it holds vacuum if not it is bad. Another test is to rev it up in 2nd then release the throttle and depress the clutch simultaneously. If it dies repeatedly with this test, it is a bad hooter. They are available from the sponsors and are pretty easy to replace (compared to a head gasket!) TOugh going into 1st or reverse is nothing to really worry about. Reverse is not 'synchroed' and you will have to put it into 3rd then try reverse again. First can be tough at times too. Try the same thing. May look at a tranny fluid change to AmsOIL series 2000 20W50 (available at Andersons on Sawmill) good luck
