Who knew it would be so easy? I'm amazed, after two night of work after dinner (~6 hrs) i'm at the 4 bolts holding it in, almost ready for the tranny jack stage. This was so uneventful and smooth, I'm sort of waiting for the other shoe to drop. So far, only one thing is holding me up: how do you get the tapered pin in the gear selector rod out? I tried using a punch and tapping it, but no go...
Anyways, it is damn nice to have the collective intelligence and experience of 20 years and countless 900 wrenchers to draw on.
