My 82T - the standard three hole gauge panel fits in the radio slot just fine, however, because my CD/radio head unit is set in there, I've mounted the gauges in a black plastic box (an appropriately sized electronics project box from Fry's electronics store) on the dash, centered behind the "coin" dish. If yours doesn't quite fit, perhaps it's a matter of filing off some plastic. The old "I'll make this fit" method. The plastic project box I purchased came with two removable end panels that happen to be the same size as the radio slot. If you need the plastic pieces to experiment with - there ya go.
