It's easy. What you need is the right sized socket with three protruding prongs. So... take a 1/2 inch 3/8 drive socket, clamp it in a vice, cut with a hacksaw along six places about 1/4 inch deep, then with a pair of pliers (small vice grips maybe)peel away the unwanted pieces leaving three protruding prongs. Then file excess metal and you have the tool. If the 1/2 socket circumference is too large to fit in the console nut holes, grind away some of the metal around the socket surface. I have one myself. Used it last month in fact. One of the easier "special tools" to handcraft.
