I did fix a horn and replaced some rubber door trim yesterday, but I doubt that could have contributed in any major way toward what you experienced. Had I also installed the tranny protection plate I pulled from a j-yard car the day before, maybe.

I do have a story though. I had to meet a client for lunch at a local eatery. Leaving, we walked together to our respective cars, parked next to one another as it turned out. She with a new black VW bug, me with my restored, repainted vintage 900T, upon seeing she commented "Nice car." She was heading off for work, while I said I was going to do some work on my car. She asked, "Who works on their own SAAB? They're way too difficult to work on!" Well, that depends on the specific chore...
