I had a few extras in my tool box but over the last few years used them all up. When I ripped another one I figured there has to be a better material. There is - soft leather! I happened to be at one of those close out stores and they had soft leather scraps for a nickle a piece. I traced the pattern from my last good one and cut it with scissors and punched a couple of holes in it. It works great. I had to play with the hard cover pin hole to get it the right size but it does the job. E-mail me and I'll be happy to send you enough leather to make some (N/C).
