I will be upgrading my engine to a '91-'94 900 16v turbo engine in the future. I just changed the tranny oil on my '88 turbo and it was really nice using the drain plug. Cleaned off the metal shavings and filled up with Red Line. I've heard that the '91 and up people have to use a siphon to drain tranny. Why did the engineers make the engine without a tranny drain plug. I was wondering if I could have a plug put in when I upgrade to the newer engine or is this too difficult? P.S. Car running about 1/4 dial cooler after the one hour prestone cooling system flush. I didn't think it would lower the temp that much and I didn't get any leaks from the flush. I had heard a warning about this. Best, KB.
