1) how do i replace cv joints. must whole axle come out of tranny, or does hub come off? also, how do i check to see if another cv joint is good or not. i have a parts car (87 900s), and would like to use the joints/axles of that if possible.

2) just looked at o2 sensor and it looks brand new. but, there are four wires coming out of it. (two white, one gray, and one black.) somewhere between there and the place where all those wires plug into there connectors, the gray one was cut. is this normal. maybe the previous owner got a four-wire sensor, and the car only needs three?

3) i have a brand new thermostat from the new head on my parts car. this has an 82 printed on the side of it. is this thermostat better for cooling than the stock one in my 87 spg?

4) how do i discharge the AC without killing all wild life in sight with the refrigerant, so i can remove the whole system?
