probably need a caliper or two replaced in the front. it is a simple job when you really get down to it. buy a bentley manual, put it in the bathroom and read when ever you park, soon enough you will be greezy up to your elbows. it is a very nicely laid out book. wish i had known about them when i bought my first saab. at any rate do not hesitate getting this problem fixed by a mechanic that knows what they are doing.

course i own 4 of these lovely beasties and can't afford the $70/hr that the master mechanic closest to me wants to work on these. and frankly, i can do it faster than they can in most cases and am much more alert to coming failures then they are. the secret with these cars is if something starts to fail, replace it promptly. a weak part puts strain on the good parts and cause them to fail prematurely.
