If you're fairly handy, this is a DIY job.
Believe it or not, its really easy to remove the hood on a C-900. Two bolts to remove, then it slides out from little forks at the hinges. This way the radiator job is easier on your back. It's nice to have a helper to line up those forks when you're putting it back on.
I got a brass radiator from Jim at SobStory, but I've had Al/plastic radiators on other cars. I really don't think either way is bad. You can find cheap junk radiators of either material. Stick with our 'trusted sponsors'...
This is a good excuse to replace the top (hot) hoses. Two peices make up the upper radiator hose. If you've got a 16v engine, you should also replace the bypass hose. That's a little elbow hose at the end of the engine, under the upper radiator hose. (Does 8v have this??) Take the time to clean off the crusty crud from the hose nipples, so the new hoses won't leak.
