I want to paint my chrome trim on a 900s to black. What steps would I take to achieve a nice hardy finish. I was thinking of using Enamel paint they use for Appliances. But what would I prep the metal with, I tried a scotch brite pad and then some etching primer and then a coat of flat black. I have only tried this on one door handle I got from salvage. When I put my fingernail on it acouple of days later, it scraped off the handle. ANy suggestions? Turbo models are a hard find in 4dr around here. Thanks
