my 1991 900S does like some of the other cars on this board and hessitates super bad at the begining of 2nd gear on a cold start. It only does this once and MAYBE a 2nd time but milder at the bottom of 3rd. its always perdictable and i know its coming and i just put the clutch in till its done its thing. its really not a big deal although its impossible to gain speed for a 1-2 second period that occurs once after the car has been first driven out of the drive way. im still in my subdivision at that point and its not a danger as it would be on the road. i disagree with those who think it might be due to a vaccum leak, therefor im not reall interested in fixing it(requires part swaping) or taking it to my shop ($$$) the other day someone said this happened to them and they happened to have a A/f guage and they noted it was pinned lean. that made me start to worry....can i cause damage to my engine from this momentary super lean run?
