i know this is a question that will be answered with extreme personal influence, but id still be interested in hearing anything that anyone would care to expound on the subject.

i am still hunting down cars, and i have two decent prospects that are in pretty similar (good) condition. the question is, which would you spring for and why?

they are both 88s. one is a turbo with 95k on it, the other is an spg with 180k on it and an engine "rebuild/overhaul" at 105k. i havent gotten the details on what went into this.

i have sorta been having the irrational desire to secure an spg, not sure why. just the allure i suppose. The reason i am looking at all is to go turbo, my mom will take the 900s off my hands, so the 900t meets the bottom line criteria. logic says the lower mileage car is probably the better bet, guess im looking for someone to say "no, get the spg anyhow!" :P
