I bought my 1987 C900, and it had just under 90,000 miles. One thing I noticed about the SPG models, at least in my area, is that they are driven much harder. The SPG is the "sport" model, and people will tend to treat it more like a sports car, racing it around and the like. This is not by far every case, it just seemed that way when I bought my car. So, what kind of miles are they? Does the SPG have 180k of drag racing, gone through 7 trannys? Or was the car babied, and taken care of? Same goes with the 900T, of course.

I really did not care if my car was a "real" SPG because I knew it couldn't be. It is a convertible. But, it does have the body cladding and suspension of the SPG. (No SPG wheels, I got Shelby SAAB racing wheels!) I never claim that mine is an SPG, though, to me it is a 900 T16S (which is the euro-spec SPG, as my car looks.) If I were you, I would buy the 900T and if you were really nuts about the body kit (which I am) buy if off the Saabnet classifieds along with some SPG wheels!
