If yours is like my ('90) Walbro pump you can just simply replace the pump unit. You need a new o-ring at the pump cover and new o-rings on the fuel line fittings (and maybe another o-ring at the top of the pump itself - I can't exactly recall. I had a dealer print out the exploded diagram so I could point and pick the o-rings).
Pull straight up on the fittings - they are friction fit - but use a tool to help pull up without twisting them.
Getting the cover off the pump unit is a little tricky. Special tool required but I did it by wedging the arms of a large pliers in the flanges on the cover and turned it off.
Search back on my old posts from Nov? of last year and also "Walbro" or "fuel pump" Some BB regulars helped me with all the info before I delved in.
