Window motors. get used. they are fine. If you want to prolong it, clean and lube the tracks (syn grease) and open, clean, lube and reassemble the motor.

The heat deal is that plastic 'Tee' in the heater hoses. Let me guess, it works fine at 65, but at a stop light the air goes cold. I had this on both '92s . Get the old style heater hoses and replace them. Another option is to get some plumbing bits and connect them stratight and remove the anti backflow valve (I think that is what it is called). The 'tee' valve is still available from the sponsors, but I'd suggest getting rid of it. Perfect opportunity to flush and refill with MB coolant. I got my replacement hoses at Saabsite (sponsor).
