Keith, this is a follow up to my wifes 1992 900T turbo conv. where the heater used to be intermittent, then no heat at all this year. The passenger window motor stuck in the down position as well. I bought a new heater bypass valve from my local dealer, and upon removal the check valve ball was missing from the suspect assy. The SAAB technician at the parts counter indicated that this valve, as he remembers it gave problems back then! But where did the check valve ball go, in the water pump? I also removed the power window assy. and cleaned and lubricated as well. The motor works but only in one direction(down). Must be bad motor, not the switch. thanks
