Unfortunatley, if you are looking for major performance gains from a 900s (naturally aspirated) you are sort of out of luck. These were not built for speed. However, there are a few things I would suggest, you try, to not only improve perfomance, fuel mileage, and all around driveability. Do a tune up, spark plug wires, distributor cap, rotr, fuel filter, and this, only use NGK plugs, (Bosch platniums are the worst thing you can put in your car.) I personally upgrade to NGK iridium plugs, these are hard to find, but clubplug.com carries them, but they are in Canada, so expect a wait on them. DIY this tune up should run you about $100. With the changed plugs you will notice a better throttle response but not many more HP's. Also upgrade to a K&N air filter. The drop in is around $50, but you never need to replace it, and you get a few extra ponies, you could also get the air intake, that bolts on replacing the air canister, is slightly more expensive, but will improve horsepower that much more, once again you will never need to replace it.

All in all you may only gain 5 to 10 horsepower, but you will be doing a lot more for driveability.
