The road handling kit (sl/bz). Would there be 11 ppl interested in upgrading the front springs? Upgrading as meaning a little lower and stiffer, but less rigid. For awhile now I've been collecting the spring specs for most of the springs produced for the c900 so I could find my perfect spring, but to my dissapointment there is none. I'm looking for a spring selection that can be used as a sporty daily driver, not a track car, and not only looks good but rides nice. I've had the non-spg OEM front springs(~150lb), Intrax(~400lb), and ~250lb custom front springs on my car. What I've found is I like something between the Intrax and ~250lb springs. My decision was based on an equilibrium between comfort and handling. So weeding through all the specs I found these springs fell into the proper catagory (listed in increasing order of stiffness 300-375):
TME (SAS)
SAAB OEM Road Handling
SAAB OEM Rally springs for the 99
MSS
B+G/Kilen
SAAB OEM Enduro

The problem was that the free height of the spring would go from one extreme to the other. Except for the Enduro spring which is in the middle but is practically unattainable. I was looking for an 11in free height which would produce the perfect ride height w/ the given springrate. The ride height in the front would be lower than the SPG but not as low as the Intrax. B+G/Kilen, or MSS. I've found after the 5 years I've owned the Intrax springs, they are to low and stiff for daily driving. They were fun at first but w/ time and comparing driving qualities of other cars, there is a harsh difference.

I've contacted a few US spring manufacturers and found one that would be willing to produce a 350-375lb/in (actual rate) spring that has a 11in free height which would fit the front end of a c900. The spring would almost be a replica of the enduro but a little lower. The spring would be a good match for the rear SPG spring, matching out ride height and proportioning. The quote was $75/spring for 12 springs.
