RS,
Thanks for asking.
Yes, i haven't replaced the bulb/holder as of yet, but the warning indicator on the dash illuminates at the proper time, and i haven't had any charging problems since i got that bulb to illuminate. (who would've thought the warning light linked to the whole charging system??)
Luckly, the weekend trips went ok, as we had a wedding to go to which my fiancee would have been quite upset about if she missed any of due to car trouble.
As i'm sure you read above, i did get a slight rattle on the way home, as the prior repair job that i did a few months back obviously wasn't done well enough. I thought i could get by with the shield bolts in the way i did them (not because i'm lazy, but because i couldn't access them given my limited abilities... but i'm learning!!), but evidently they weren't tight enough. Spent a good part of the day yesterday working on the car, but hopefully i won't have that job again anytime soon and did it "right" this time.
