Yup, battery woes... Wake up, get in car, no start. Still a bit o' residual power (clock still ticking) though. Drive to work, 15 miles, steady 40-50mph. Leave work, car starts. Go home, sleep, wake up, no start... (happens a couple of times, with the problem having gotten more worse over the course of about 5 days, after I realized the ever-so-slightly harder starts)
First, my locks are getting old and sticky. I have a hunch that the actuator may be getting sticky, and not stop actuating. Possibility? Pulled fuse. Actually, pulled the fuse to ALL the stuff I don't use, but note: not the belts. Hmmmmm
Second, it's been wicked hot in New England. Battery sits next to the turbo (shield still installed!). But still, it gets friggin hot under there. Batteries hate heat.
Third, that damned cooling fan. Again, that heat problem thing, and that stinkin fan running for hours it seems (not really, but it seems).
Forth, new alternator last year, new battery last year.
What could it be?
Any ideas?
PS- It's a Die Hard. Now I'm thinkin twice about thems Sears...
