You've got a lot of "deferred maintenance." Still, better the devil you know than the devil you don't. In other words, stick with your car. You know it, you own it, and it sounds like you like it.
Are you willing to do some work on it yourself? A full brake job is not rocket science. Shocks are quite simple to replace, too. As to the seat, you could buy a used one, get your existing one rebuilt by an auto upholsterer, or - so I'm told anyway - you could find a passenger seat, remove the bottom cushioning and put it on your driver seat. A replacement spring kit is also available.
Glass is probably best left to experts. Tires can be had for cheap these days. As to paint, you can spend a weekend on rejuvenating it with a 3-step process such as Meguir's et al., and be very surprised at how good it looks.
