90 SPG 5spd. I just got this car not too long ago and the transmission shift points are really weird. Shifting into 1st and 5th seems like I am taking a VERY long stroke. When shifting into second it seems that it doesn't want to go in all the way. It will go into second but once I let off of the gas it pops back out. When pulling back into second it is a REALLY short stroke. I believe that the car has had the transmission replaced because there is some leakage around the sides of the engine where the eng/trans meet. I am thinking that there wasn't an adjustment done or something to that affect. I welcome any ideas.
