Good work. Some have posted before with storys about idle stops screws way out of wack after cleaning the throddle. One scenario is that throddles never get cleaned, but the idle stop gets adjusted over the years with tune ups and idle troubleshooting. When us saabphiles get our hands on such cars and do our diligent new-to-me tuneup we uncover the problem and don't realize it.
Those screws are really a pain. I about gave up when I cracked them loose - got a small socket on one and my needlenose vice grips on the other one. Get that throddle plate completely shut, then set the TPS to click when just opening/shutting. See the thread about my Q with the continuity tests (LH2.2 and 2.4 same TPS readings). Yours is an '86 I think. LH2.2 do require idle adjustment (my LH2.4 has no mech adjustment - its elec adaptive)
Also, once you figure this out, expect something else to break. Last weekend I replaced A-arm bushings (lower), sway bar bushings and cured my brake squeak. Well, in crammed rush hour traffic Friday, anxious to get out of town to my cabin, my ABS and Brake lights come on and stay on.... Always a trade off.
