Clutch pedal flops and brake fluid vanished

'86 900 turbo: I started experiencing bizzare pressures on my clutch pedal, and after a couple of minutes, the pedal was no longer disengaging the clutch. I seemed to have plenty of brake fluid, but when I checked it again the next morning, the reservoir was empty. Has my clutch master cylinder failed? Or the slave? What is involved with removing either of these and rebuilding? Thanks very much for any help.
