Normally this sounds like a good idea, but think of this first...
Sounds like there's crud blocking the system, maybe from the rubber hose alongside the bellhousing, & its got the slave all plugged up. If you bleed back towards the master, you may un-clog it, but where is the crud going to go? Probably into the clutch master, then into the brake reservoir. Do you really want to pump that stuff into your brakes?
Maybe if you disconnect the clutch hose/tube somewhere down near the clutch slave, you can flush the stuff out of the clutch slave using this method. Then flush fluid forward from the clutch master thru the disconnected tube. (hope you got enough brake fluid)
Maybe you'll want to replace that hose if its falling apart on the inside. This isn't the one from the brake reservoir, its down alongside the clutch on the LH side. Kinda below the throttlebody, it connects to the clutch slave right by the bleed screw...
