Actually this DIY thing is becoming my new hobby. Here's the latest fun...

So I wrestled with the damned power antenna for 2 hours last night. Pulled the motor out, and that's not fun in the convertible. Got it all together, screwd up, pulled it out... I read the directions once more and did the thing. 2 hours!!! After reading it takes 4min 58 seconds on Townsend's site. Well I certainly learned a lot, and now I could do it in 5 mintues...

So knowing what a pain that was for me, I thought my front motor mount would be torture. I set aside the evening for it. 1 hour, start to finish. All turbo plumbing and fans out, R&R the mount, put the stuff back together. 1 hour. I was bracing for the worst. Gotta love air tools and you guys on SAABNET. I read some posts and sped right through it. I wouldn't have known where to begin otherwise!

Then I did my buddy's Volvo 240 brakes. That was 5 hours, and he was down to metal on 3 corners. It sounded horrible when he drove in. Works like a champ now. Not a bad car to work on. Visibility is GREAT outta that car.
