Part I
Your O2 sensor is located in the exhaust down pipe just before the catalytic converter. I would suggest you test it first with a digital volt meter to make sure that it is in fact faulty. The wiring harness is located behind the front passgener wheel well. There are three wires that go to the sensor, one black wire (signal) and 2 white ones (pre-heater circuit). With the car running disconnect the black wire and measure the voltage with respect to ground (1 test lead connected to the black wire coming FROM the O2 sensor and the other lead connected to a grounding point on the car). The voltage should read somewhere between .4 - 1 volt. To verify proper operation, pull a vaccum line or remove the oil dipstick (anything that would change the air/fuel ratio), and you should see a fluctuation in the voltage. If you don't get a reading or the voltage does not change, replace the sensor (see Part II).
Part II
You want to make sure it's hot (the sensor and exhaust pipe) when you remove it because otherwise they're tough to get out (remember to turn counter clockwise;-)). Check with one of the site's sponsors for a replacement (such as sobstory.com - Jim can get you one). Other than that, the only other thing is, make sure you put the anti-sieze compound that comes with the replacement on the threads. Don't get the anti sieze on the tip either.
