At first the plastic window didn't bother me, probably because I didn't drive the car much. Now that I drive the car daily I realize how badly it sucks. The replacement window that was installed by the previous owner is made of that clear flexible plastic that is used on boat covers or like the soft tops used on a jeep. It starts to get scratched and very hard to see through. I can tell there is something behind me but need to use the side mirrors to figure out what or how far behind me something is. That and the stitches around the window leak so badly I can hear water sloshing around back there around corners when it rains.
I guess my point is I wish I wouldn't have been cheap and replaced the back window section when I put the new top on rather then keeping the old one like I did. Now I have to re-do the back section of the top to replace the window section. Moral of the story is do it right the first time and be done.
