Hi bobj, first, thanks for quick reply. We have only owned this gem
since 10/12/02 so let us describe its apparent condition. Exterior:
Red,shiny even paint. No apparent rust, all trim intact 1 or 2 tiny
scratches like those made by a pin. Inside, clean as if done prof-
-essionally, no tears on seats, etc. Headliner seems to be brand new
and cushioned. Under the hood it looks like it has been steam cleaned
w/small places missed around fittings. Doesn't look like lower part
of engine was steamed but no wet spots or grease or oil leaks appar-
-ent. We drove home, about 225 mi. after purchase and found a low
coolant level, on refilling found a small leak on hose from coolant
container to radiator at bottle. Replaced bad clamp, stopped leak.
Service sticker indicated next oil change due at 130,000 or so. Oil
didn't look ugly but we'll change it tomorrow 10/17. Also serv. book-
-let shows last serv. at 44,540 mi. It runs quietly and smoothly,well-
-lll like a Saab. We intend to check and replace all vacuum hoses we
can as we feel this is one of the things that makes these beauties
really perform. We're going to receive extra special sweet treatment
from the BW as she loves 'em too. Hope this describes it adequately,
sorry to be so long winded.
George
