have come to the conclusion, after replacing my fronts with new Boge shocks, that the modern shocks or at least the saab factory shocks, dont wear out and get bouncy or loose actually the shocks stiffen up and get hard and create a hard ride. New shocks increased handling and ability to handle bumps and I hit alot in my NYC travels. I would say if shocks have not been changed at 100K change them. Site sponsers sell Boge for $41 and then get them installed at PEP boys for $12 each. I like to use OEM shocks because i feel they "center" correctly when installed.A lot of shocks will fit but OEM Boges seem to know the way Hooome
