The air filter on the cam cover works to keep crankcase pressure equivalent to atmospheric, but vents crankcase gases to atmosphere. An emission no-no that would cause instant emissions inspection failure. Used to be used years ago and is still used on non-PCV competition engines. For a street engine it just tends to contaminate the crankcase oil with unburned HC or piston blowby gases.
Interesting ground straps on the ignition wires...I'm assuming for RF interference. Or some type of capacitance ignition wires. Pretty much unnecessary for the street, especially since stock FPR indicates stock fuel flow (bigger injectors with stock fpr?). Also stock vacuum advance/pressure retard can on distributor.
Nice valve cover, IMHO it needs the stock ignition wire cover to keep stuff out of on top of the spark plugs.
