Hmmmm, FUNNY you mentioned that!!!! Emissions...... I have failed 3 times at the local e-check. I swapped the AMM from my beater SPG to the other car & the car is running richer. My mechanic suggested me to use the filter on the VC however from what you stated, that IS my problem!!!!! I think I will yank it & go back to OEM to see how it works.
Wire wise, that is how Nology does them. Many feel it's a waiste & the $$$ should be spent on normal magnecore wires however I have definantly noticed (not a dyno comparison) a improvement with the nology wires vs a non-capacitor wire.
Presently I do use a stock FPR & I have 24# injectors. More then likely I will add Brad's add on fuel computer so I can have 4 more fuel injectors on the car. I also have the OEM turbo, downpipe, cams, etc untill I get a few thousand miles on the motor then I can start having fun with the car.
I do have a valve cover to go on it, I just keep forgetting to put the thing on :o)
