Slave cylinder - rebuild or replace?

I finally discovered that the leak I'm having is brake fluid so I guess my slave cylinder is going out. Makes sense since it has 155k miles and 11 years and I just flushed the crud out of it during the 150k service. I have been reading the archives and most often people talk about replacing the cylinders. I know there are also rebuilt kits. Would that just be wasting time and effort? Quite a range of costs between just a rebuilt kit for $5 and the whole nine yards as recommended (new slave, clutch, throwout bearing, clutch shaft seal, pilot bearing, and machine pressure plate). Any advice?
