I don't have the part number anymore, but is smaller in size than the original. It's a 12v 750mw bulb with long wire leads that require soldering. They come 2 to a package and cost $1.29.
I would suggest looking at your disassembled switch as you read the following paragraphs.
Once you get the switch open, you need to desolder the bulb leads (which wrap around the circuit board which holds the green plastic bulb holder). Make sure you remove ALL of the solder otherwise you will break the circuit board when you try to remove the green plastic piece; I would suggest using solder removal wick.
Once this is done, simply remove the old bulb from the holder, insert the new one (it will fit loosely, but just like the original, wrap the lead around the circuit board to keep the bulb suspended within the green plastic holder) and solder it in. Obviously polarity does not matter.
It's a bit of a project, but it beats spending 90 bucks for a new switch.
