Can someone offer to me a thought or two regarding the following symptom?

The car sort of sputters a while on initial start-up in the morning, then idles VERY low...after it has been driven a bit, (has warmed up, I guess), it then begins to idle very HIGH, and continues to do so.

The indy told us that the last C900 he had with those symptoms turned out to be the computer. Stetson's (now infamous for refusing to change the bad head gasket under warranty) says there's nothing wrong with the computer.

We're the ones with the white smoke pouring out of the tailpipe (VERY noticeable, and Stetson's says they can't see it...haha), and oil leaking onto the driveway from the front ride side of the vehicle.

What say the experts living here on the board?
