Anyone used "dynamat" on their floors? If so....???

I was thinking of replacing the tired foam/rubber from under my carpet with the dynamat. Looks like a good product and I was looking to drown out some sound....I've got a stock turbo exhaust on a n/a engine which I think sounds good but....passengers like a quiet car.
Anyway, how does it stand up to the occasional water leak that an old 900 is prone to have? I tracked down a leak a couple of years ago and while I had the carpets out I POR-15'd the floor but....It has started recently to allow some water inside again. Out come the carpets :o) So I might as well replace the mats now.
It looks like it stays in place with a self adhesive so it wouldn't be as easy to dry out if it does get wet.
Anyone have experience with it?
Thanks in advance,
Todd
