Yeah, the CIS cars are totally different from the LH cars. Difficult to go back and forth.

The relays you're looking for are right above the ECU, to the right of where the front passenger's feet are. They're difficult, but not impossible, to get to with the kick panel in place. The relay you want is the one that has two brown & white wires on the bottom which are connected together - I can't remember whether it's the fore or aft relay. The relays under the back seat are for the door chime and the dome light - not too exciting, but they should be the same on your '87.

The non-turbos are exceptionally reliable cars. I bought mine at 168k and just crossed 200k and the car has never hiccuped or died or needed anything replaced. I change the oil, put in gas, and it's good to go. Very well-designed cars. All that isn't to say the turbos are less reliable - they just tend to great driven harder... :)
