Thanks everyone for the suggestions.
One other question that I had is can I get some JB weld and try to patch it on the back of the radiator? I can see where the fins are bent (2 of them) and that is where the leak comes from? How does this compare to using the sealant that you mix in w/ the coolant? Does JB weld work? does it work on SAAB radiators?
Also a general question, at what temp (and roughly what level on the temp gage) does the valve open and let the coolant through the radiator? I took a test drive to see how much I was loosing and drove for a while on open road (gage less than 1/2) stopped and looked at it and didn't see a leak. Then I sat for a while, let the temp rise to about 1/2 and saw the leak start. If I am able to keep it below 1/2 (which it usally does on open roads) should I not have flow through the radiator? THanks, I know it is hard to give a response if you can 't see the problem.
